Boyce Gardens is located in the north-east corner of Toowoomba and covers six hectares. It was originally established as a private garden by leading Toowoomba citizens Leslie and Margaret Boyce over sixty years ago. It was given in trust to the University of Queensland in 1969.
The expertly maintained garden provides a range of vistas and smaller garden ‘rooms’ Plus there is a restored rainforest section in the lower parts of the garden that in a matter of a few steps takes your from a distinctly man-made landscape to one that could be in an isolated corner of a forest..
